highest jump by a dolphin

The bottlenose dolphin (Turnips truncates)- named fro its stubby beak -can make leap as high aa 26ft (8m) above the surface of the water. The reason that dolphin  jump in the wild is debated but may  be to do with saving  energy cleaning themselves locating prey communicating with  their pod or even just for fun.
