for two days each January the desert city of Bikaner  India hosts camel festival. Dro,edaries participate  I'm camel  races tugs of  war contests and the camel shearing competition where  artist wielding sharp sharp scissor transform their camels into living works of art  by shaving their coats into intricate  traditional endian patterns. a beauty  contest is  also held where camels are adored with colorful accessories and  makeup.
