fun

On January 14,2015, Tommy Caldwell and  Kevin Jorgesen  did something many  said could not be done. They climbed the   Dawn wall of El Capitan in Yosemite national  park California using only their hands and feet. No tools No ladders No ropes except safety ropes to stop a tall. Experts  call the smooth  vertical  3,000feet.(914-m ) rock face the hardest climb in the  world  and the two faced extreme  challenges The sun  blazed fiercely  in daytime  so they climbed  mostly at night their fingertips bled from constantly gripping  the rock so they taped them and Super-Glued the taped so it wouldn,t come  apart (For Tommy who missing one  finger free climbing has a special challenge )  It  took them 19 days to complete the climb- making history and a dream come true . from the deepest  oceans to towering  parks  like El Capitan experience  unforgettable natural wonders of the world in this section. from national geographic kids
