first map of an extrasolar plant
In 2007 nasas espitar space telescope observed the star Hd 18733 and its planet Hd 189733 for 33 hr. The observation ware converted into a temperature map with a range of 700-940%C (1,290 1,720%f) . The map pictured here shows a warm spot on the planet's sunlit side.
