since 1982 lois gibson (USA)has  been using her 

artistic abilities to help bring criminals to justice. In fact she's been so successful that she earned her own guinness world records  tutee for most criminals positively identified  owing  to the composites one artist. To date the detailed composites drawn by this talented forensic artist have helped to bring more than 1,000 offenders to justice in the state of Texas. lois currently works for  the police department in Houston Texas.  Here remarkable career stated in the most dramatic fashion possible she suffered a brutal life- threatening assault. The  shocking experience inspired  the former street artist to move to Houston and offer her services  to the city's police department. The fist two sketches that she produced  had no impact but the third one helped to secure  a conviction since  than she's never look back. lois's  job requires not only artistic talent but also great patience. It 's  getting (victims) remember the last thing they  want to remember she observes. The photograph right is that of Donald Eugene dutton an escaped convict  who shot police officer named Deason several times and than drove over him  dragging him 17m (55ft) . Sitting by the semi- conscious officer's  hospital bedsaide lois asked him describe his assailant and  produced the sketch seen here . a few days later Dutton was caught shoplifting and resemblance to  lois sketch was noted. At a line up staged  in Officer deaspms hospital room  policeman picked  out dutton as his attacker.
