Every summer gray whales travel in search of food.The whale swim from the waters of Baja California west coast of the U.S. and Canada the to the Bering sea between Alaska and Russia some swim as far north as the Arctic ocean. Here the eating is good with plankton a tiny form of sea life the main meal. This round trip is about 12,000 miles which make it one of the longest migration of any mammal.
