It prat of the gem collection of the smithsonian institution in Washington d.c. tens of thousands of visitors pass it every day making it making it one of the most popular museum objects in the world The hope diamond is dark blue which makes it very rate its histroy is also special The diamond was owned by french and english kings and comes with a curse supposedly anyone who wears it will have bad luck. in 2011the hope diamond was placed in the new setting.
